An inflatable portrait of adolescence.

This music video was a passion project made between 2016 and 2017 for my good music friends Supernaive, who have scored my graduation film. The track "Opal Waltz" is from their EP project "Dazed & Confused" which explores the theme of adolescence.
At the time, I was working full time at BUCK. Making this film was a really big challenge and I could not have made it without the precious help of my animation friends. Thankfully the music video was well received and I am still proud of it to this day.

ANIMATION BREAKDOWN

For this project, the animation process was quite straightforward. I didn't use any compositing. The final colored animation was generally directly plugged into the film.
