The animation was generated using a dithering software called TexTuring created by Ivan Murit. It applies Turing patterns to images. The base font used is Space Mono designed by Colophon Foundry.
The sequence below is very special as it revisits a classic scene from the original short Scavengers. Joe and Charles gave me the trust and freedom to rewrite it directly in the storyboards stage.
Conceiving and writing this scene was pure joy.
The following shot is probably the most ambitious piece of animation I ever tackled. In some ways, it is a love letter to the show. It appears at the climax of the series' finale. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and I am very grateful to the extraordinary artists who helped me bring this crazy idea to life.
